Outstanding Josh :D ! Yup, I LUV IT ! As always I really dig seeing your original black and white media work (with scale). Great action in this, VERY Lobo :D ! The POV, through hole in head, would make Lobo proud (it also explains why Lobo is so happy). The larger work looks like it is coming along great!
That's pretty bad-ass so far Josh...I think my favorite thing about the piece is how the hair looks, I really like the detail you were able to get with the brush
Thanks guys. Chuck, you are too kind. Josh, love the love. Rob, glad you dig the exploded look. He's supposed be looking through a hole in a dude's face. The bottom row of teeth are smashed in, and an eyeball is flying at the camera. I debated separating the layers and putting a radial blur on the foreground, but I decided to just leave the inks as are for the time being. However, I was very unhappy with how tall I made the hair on the top of the head. That's what I get for drawing while watching TNG and looking and Warf's big ass head.

ReplyDeleteVery nice Josh. I love the different textures you can create and the mark making , over all explosive feel is satisfying.
