Narrative: "Worf Loses a Bet" by Mike McMahon

I had planned on doing an 8 page short story, but wasn't able to get much of it done (you can see what I did get done here).
So I took a cue from Josh's post and just did a quick strip.

TNG Poster: Deja Q by Justin Zyduck

As a kid, the Q episodes were always my favorite, so when this week's assignment came down, I immediately knew I wanted to do one of those. I thought I'd approach this episode with sort of a Farrelly Brothers-type poster; re-imagining the episode as a sort of high-concept '90s comedy. Indeed, Q episodes were frequently very funny, owing in part to de Lancie and Stewart's work as an unlikely comedy duo. The show's writers and producers seemed to be aware of this as well; most Next Generation episodes carry fairly respectable sci-fi titles, but one gets the sense that whenever it was time to do a Q episode, Gene Roddenberry would burst into the writer's room and go, "All right, men, it's wordplay time." And then they'd go around the room: "What about 'Q or False'?" "Or maybe 'Red, White, and Q'." "'Q-Cumber Salad'?" "'Q Live Crew'!"
Sadly, though, because of my struggles to capture recognizable likenesses, the part of Q will be played tonight not by de Lancie, but rather by some sort of genetic mixture of Ed Sullivan and Richard Nixon. Oh well.
STNG Poster: The Best of Both Worlds by Adam Rosenlund

Sorry I haven't been at it for a while, but I've been working on a lot of different things as of late trying to get ready for NYCC this week, so I haven't had time for anything other than that. However, Rich probably would kill me if I didn't have something in for his topic, so I managed to squeak this one in under the wire. I'm not super knowledgeable about STNG, but I'm sure this one will ring a few bells.
Trek edition; "Heart of Glory," by Josh Purple
Inspired by AC DC's 'Lock up your daughters' poster. AC DC seemed fitting for this episode, -'warrior-like' intensity, etc. (that's in 'bernyKlingon' font). Very tempted to go with the image of Wharf doing the howl during the Klingon death ritual :) .

TNG Poster: Yesterday's Enterprise by Mike McMahon

Coloring this is gonna take me forever, so I'm gonna post the black and white.
By far one of my all time favorite episodes, really enjoyed working on it. Awesome idea, Rich.

STNG Poster: Q Who? by: Mark Hurst
So, I've never been a huge Star Trek person. I've enjoyed them but didn't grow up watching it like most people. But because of a recent addiction to netflix I have started watching the series. Because of this I am not to far into the series. I have always been interested in the Borg and never really knew the back ground on how they were introduced in the series. So being interested in both Q and the Borg, this episode works great.

STNG Poster: The Royale, by Josh Lynch
I originally did Starship Mine, one of my favorite episodes. But I love the visuals from the Royale. And while the execution wasn't great it was a classic Scifi style story.

Captain Lobo Of the U.S.S. Enterprise
Sorry to be posting a day late, as well as a piece I don't really consider complete. This was due to both work and some personal issues. But on to the fun! I really don't know much of anything about Lobo, except that he thinks he can kick everyone's butts. After some discussions about comics and tons of other random pop culture items Star Trek came up as well as the weeks drawings. And since I have started to watch Next Generation on netflix... being that I never grew up watching it. So in the face of trying to draw something that I know nothing about watching something I've never watched this is what happens. Enjoy.
